Multi-sector investment missions (MIM) are one of the main components of the work carried out by the Undersecretariat for Investment Development. They facilitate linkages and connections between potential foreign investors and the diversity of business opportunities that exist in Argentina, as well as promote the internationalization of Argentine companies. Countries with the highest investment potential have been selected as MIM destinations, including those that represent the largest investor presence in Argentina as well as non-traditional destinations with great dynamism.
Activities include investment project presentations by representatives of companies, national and provincial governments to carefully selected stakeholders in the destination country; seminars on business opportunities and productive investment in Argentina; sector-specific investment road shows to present projects to groups of investors; the signing of investment agreements and/or understandings for cooperation; meetings with senior executives in companies with a presence in Argentina and/or are interested in investing; and meetings with relevant economic stakeholders and public officials with expertise in investment development.
